Leticia Rodriguez Vazquez
Constable Leticia Rodriguez Vazquez grew up in the heart of Precinct 2 and is a proud product of the Edgewood independent school district. She is the daughter of hard-working parents who instilled in her the importance of service to the community.
Before becoming Constable, she joined the Bexar County Sheriff's Office in 1994, where she served over 25 years as a Deputy. While at the Sheriff's Office, Constable Vazquez started her career as a detention officer. She was assigned to Courthouse Security, the D.A.R.E. program, and on the streets of Bexar County as a Patrol Deputy.
She has spent her career working directly in the community protecting the vulnerable during the most challenging moments in their lives. She is dedicated to treating community members with compassion and respect.
In her final role at the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, she was tapped by Sheriff Javier Salazar to serve as a S.C.O.R.E. Unit Deputy (Sheriff's Community Oriented Response and Education Unit).
On October 9, 2019, Constable Vazquez was appointed by Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff and Commissioners Court to fill the vacancy of Constable in Precinct 2.
In 2022, Constable Vazquez was elected by Bexar County Residents to her first term in office, during the COVID 19 Pandemic. Throughout that time, she repurposed her office in order to meet the needs of Precinct 2. As such, she increased services to the elderly and partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank. Constable Vasquez is a proud product of Precinct Two. She graduated from Memorial High School, raised her daughters in the precinct, and resides with her husband Jose. She attended San Antonio College, where she received her Peace Officers License and currently holds a Master Peace Officers Licence.
